Pocahontas – Lawrence Arnold Weisenbach, 74, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013.

Born December 31, 1938 in Brockett, Ar. to the late Alfred and Minnie Weisenbach.

He is also preceded in death by brother, Joe Weisenbach and sister, Mary Kimble.

He is survived by wife, Mary Weisenbach of the home, son, Larry and wife Casey Weisenbach of Jonesboro and two daughters, Karen and husband Delmer Moore of Biggers and Angela Weisenbach of the home.  7 grandchildren include, Joshua and wife Andromeda Weisenbach, Jillian Weisenbach, Lawson Weisenbach, Alison Moore, Felicia Moore, Joey and wife Alix Moore, and Madison Duggar.  Great grandchildren include, Vincent Weisenbach, Caloeb and Carley Moore.  Siblings include, Lavern and wife Emma Weisenbach of Maynard, Paul and wife Ruth Weisenbach, Gene and wife Phyllis Weisenbach and Rose Blevins all of Pocahontas.

Lawrence was a President for Holy Name Society in 1970, grounds keeper at St. John’s Catholic Church from 1970-1985 and was a Grand Knight in Knights of Columbus in 1980.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John’s Catholic Church.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church with Father Anthanius Okeiyi officiating.  Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. with a 7 o’clock rosary following in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.

    MY BROTHER LAVON CALLED TODAY AND TOLD ME ABOUT LAWRENCE PASSING AWAY I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL AND GRADUATED IN 58 WITH LAWRENCE SPENT SEVERAL NIGHTS AT HIS MOTHER AND DADS COON HUNTING AND FISHING IN FOURSCHE RIVER
