My daughter, Addy, talks of playing with Kyria and Rhiannon. She has told me many stories over the past few days about this sweet girl. I cannot fathom your loss, but I do know that God has an unforeseen plan in the midst of this tragedy. Please know that so many are lifting your family up in prayer now and in the days and weeks ahead.

Our lives were forever changed the day Kyria walked into our yard and asked Rhiannon to play. She was always so happy and so good. She loved to help us around the house and played for days and weeks on end with Rhiannon and Evan. So full of life and love no matter what she was going through. I feel as though Ive lost my own child. But we are very honored to have been able to spend so much time with her. She is, was and always will be a blessing in our life. God help me get these young children through this. And although she is so missed, let us be happy for Kyria because she can now play with her mommy as much as she wants.

This truely is a tragedy, I remember both of my sisters were very good friends with her and the day we all found out, they were heartbroken, neither of them have come out of their rooms, nor have they stopped crying since the news has been broken. My thoughts are with the family and I hope Kyria is in a better place. I mean I didn’t know her but there were a few times she came over to play with Haley and Christan and she was so kind and mature, as well as respectful. I hope the family can get through this tragedy and even though my friends and I didn’t know her, we will be at the funeral.

We are so deeply sorry for your loss. Please know you will be in all of our prayers.
We are comforted by the Lord’s direction in Romans 8:18 and hope it is of comfort to you as well. There is a great glory awaiting God’s faithful that is far greater than any suffering we endure on this Earth.

“I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
    Romans 8:18

We pray God gives you the comfort and strength you need to endure these times.

I am so sorry for your loss. I too lost a daughter and it is devastating I know. I am Christopher and James’s great grandmother so I am in a way ‘long extended family’. The tears are important and the talking about her a lot is necessary for getting through the heartbreak. Be strong and brave for those who are here and who loved her, and who love you!

Kyria was my best friend we played with each other when she was in the 2nd grade and i was in the 1st grade and we were in the same class through 2nd & 3rd grade and we were separated in the fourth grade, and I never saw her again. But i face timed her during her last summer but she will never be forgotten. To me she was a very daring but very loyal and kind and she is the best friend anyone could ever have. And the best one I ever had!
